Accept Ondo (ONDO) payments

ONDO is the governance token of Ondo Finance, a project known for putting US Treasuries and other real-world assets on-chain. easyway accepts it next to ETH and the stablecoins, on the same checkout and API. Below: which token counts (Ondo issues several), what paying looks like for the customer, and what a low-priced, non-stable token means for your invoices.

This is the address published in Ondo's own token documentation. ONDO started out non-transferable; a DAO vote switched transfers on in January 2024, so older articles that call it locked are out of date. Team and investor lock-ups are vesting schedules and don't affect tokens a customer already holds.

Which tokens are not ONDO

Ondo Finance issues more than one token, and wallets sometimes show them side by side. These are not credited if sent to an invoice address:

USDY and rUSDY — Ondo's yield-bearing dollar tokens, backed by short-term Treasuries and bank deposits.
OUSG — Ondo's tokenized short-term US Treasuries fund, for qualified investors.
Tokenized stocks and ETFs from Ondo — separate contracts per security.
ONDO on another chain — anything that isn't the Ethereum contract above.

If you want to be paid in dollars, take USDT or USDC instead; USDY is not listed. The checkout labels the coin "Ethereum · ERC-20"; customers withdrawing from an exchange should pick the Ethereum network there.

What paying looks like for the customer

The customer picks ONDO, sees an amount and a fresh 0x… address (with a QR code), and sends exactly that amount. From a personal wallet the transfer needs a little ETH for gas; from an exchange account the exchange pays it. easyway watches the address's ONDO balance, so a plain transfer, an exchange batch withdrawal or a smart-contract wallet are all credited the same way. Delegated voting power does not lock ONDO — it moves with the tokens.

The invoice counts as paid after 12 confirmations, typically a few minutes. Transfers below 0.01 ONDO are ignored so dust spam can't touch an invoice; larger ones to the same address add up. Late and short payments follow the underpaid and late payments guide.

Price risk and fees

ONDO's price moves. For a USD invoice the ONDO amount is locked from the exchange rate when the customer chooses the coin; after the payment, ONDO is credited and withdrawn as ONDO, so later price moves are yours. Pricing an invoice in ONDO itself (currency = "ONDO_ERC20") skips the conversion.

The platform fee is a flat 0.5% of each confirmed payment — 200 ONDO paid leaves 199 ONDO on your balance. The withdrawal fee and minimum above are fixed ONDO amounts sized for the ETH gas of a token transfer at listing time; because one ONDO is worth well under a dollar, they look larger in tokens than the AAVE or LINK ones while costing about the same. All coins are on the pricing page.

Integrating

Nothing is ONDO-specific: create an invoice through the API (or a payment link without code), redirect to the hosted checkout, and fulfil on the signed invoice.paid webhook. The quickstart has runnable examples, and the sandbox guide shows how to try the flow without real funds.

Common questions

Who holds the ONDO? easyway keeps it on your balance until you withdraw. Live withdrawals go only to addresses you have whitelisted with two-factor authentication; see security.

Which other Ethereum tokens are accepted? ETH itself (accepting Ethereum), Aave (AAVE), Uniswap (UNI), Chainlink (LINK), DAI and PYUSD, and SHIB and PEPE, all on the same invoice addresses.
