Crypto donations with on-stream alerts

A donation link lets anyone support you in crypto without an account: they choose how much to give, pay with any of 23 coins on 12 networks, and can leave a name and a message. If you stream, the same link drives an alert overlay for OBS or Streamlabs.

How a donation works

You create the link in Dashboard → Payment links and choose Donation. The supporter opens it, picks one of the preset amounts or types their own, and adds a name and a message if they want to. They then land on the normal hosted checkout, choose a coin and network, and pay to the address and amount shown there. Amounts are in USD; the coin amount is fixed at the rate locked for that payment.

SettingDefaultNotes
Amount1 to 100,000 USDSet your own minimum and maximum per link
Preset buttons5, 10, 25, 50, 100 USDOnly the presets inside your limits are shown
NameOptional, up to 40 charactersShown on the alert and in your dashboard
MessageOptional, up to 200 charactersShown on the alert and in your dashboard

The name and message are stored with the payment as donor_name and donor_message in its metadata, so your webhooks receive them too if you want to thank supporters from your own bot or site.

Alerts on your stream

Each donation link has its own widget URL. Add it to OBS Studio or Streamlabs as a Browser Source; the page has a transparent background, so only the alert is drawn over your scene. It checks for new paid donations every few seconds and shows each one — name, amount and message — for about eight seconds, one after the other.

Add ?test=1 to the widget URL to see a sample alert while you place and size the source. The widget never shows the supporter's e-mail or a payment link, only what viewers would see anyway. The URL works like a password: if it leaks, rotate it in the dashboard and the old one stops working.

When an alert appears

Only when the donation is fully paid, which means confirmed on its blockchain. That takes seconds on TON, Solana or XRP, about a minute on TRON, and longer on Bitcoin, where blocks are about ten minutes apart; the pricing page lists the confirmations for every coin. A payment that arrives short stays off the alert until the supporter sends the rest from the checkout.

Fees and your balance

A donation costs the same as any other payment: a flat 0.5% platform fee and nothing per link or per alert. Donations are received in the coin the supporter paid with and are not converted. easyway holds your balance until you withdraw it to a wallet address you have whitelisted; each coin's withdrawal fee and minimum are on the pricing page.

Try it first

Links created in test mode never touch a blockchain: open a test donation in the dashboard and press Simulate payment to watch it reach the alert before you go live. See test mode & go-live in the docs, and payment links & hosted checkout for how links relate to the API.

Popular coins for donations

Supporters most often hold stablecoins such as USDT on TRON, USDT on TON or USDC, which keep the donated value in dollars. Bitcoin, Solana and every other supported coin work too.
