Accept USDT payments on 7 networks
Tether (USDT) is the dollar stablecoin most crypto payers already hold, but it lives on many blockchains. easyway accepts it on TRON, BNB Smart Chain, TON, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon and Avalanche through one API and one hosted checkout, so the customer pays from the network their USDT is on.
USDT networks, confirmations and withdrawal fees
Every network is its own asset with its own API id and balance: USDT received on TRON is withdrawn on TRON. The platform fee is the same everywhere, 0.5% of each confirmed payment — a customer paying 100 USDT leaves you 99.5 USDT.
| Network | API id | Confirmations | Min. withdrawal | Withdrawal fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TRON · TRC-20 | USDT_TRC20 | 19 | 0.5 USDT | 1 USDT |
| BNB Smart Chain · BEP-20 | USDT_BEP20 | 15 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
| TON · Jetton | USDT_TON | 1 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
| Ethereum · ERC-20 | USDT_ERC20 | 12 | 0.5 USDT | 1.5 USDT |
| Solana · SPL | USDT_SOL | 1 | 0.5 USDT | 0.3 USDT |
| Polygon · PoS | USDT_POLYGON | 64 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
| Avalanche · C-Chain | USDT_AVAX | 10 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
Confirmations range from 1 to 64 blocks depending on the chain; each network's page explains how its payments are detected and which contract is credited.
How a USDT payment works
Create an invoice in USD and the customer picks the coin and network on the hosted checkout; the USDT amount is locked when they pick. To offer only USDT, pass allowed_assets with the networks you want, for example ["USDT_TRC20", "USDT_BEP20"]. To price in USDT on one network, set currency to its id (then only that network is accepted). A signed invoice.paid webhook tells your server when to fulfil the order.
Each invoice gets its own deposit address — except on TON, where one shared address plus a memo per invoice is used, and the QR code fills the memo in. The checkout always names the network next to the address: USDT sent on a different network than the invoice's is not credited to it.
Which USDT networks should you offer?
All of them settle the same dollar; what differs is the customer's wallet and the network fee they pay to send. Offering several networks means fewer customers have to move funds before paying. Ethereum is usually the most expensive to send from, so for small amounts the cheaper networks suit customers better; you can leave Ethereum on for those who hold USDT there. The USDT network comparison goes through the trade-offs network by network, and USDT vs USDC covers the other big stablecoin, which is accepted on its own page.
Integrate
The USDT TRC-20 guide has a complete integration in Node.js, PHP and Python; the same code works for every network above by changing the asset id. Test it first with an sk_test_… key in the sandbox, and see pricing for every other coin.
