Accept USDT payments on Polygon and Avalanche
Polygon PoS and Avalanche C-Chain are two of the cheapest places to move Tether: sending USDT there usually costs the customer a cent or less. easyway accepts USDT on both through the same API and hosted checkout as every other network.
Contracts, confirmations and limits
| Network | API id | Contract | Confirmations | Min. withdrawal | Withdrawal fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Polygon · PoS | USDT_POLYGON | 0xc213…8e8F | 64 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
| Avalanche · C-Chain | USDT_AVAX | 0x9702…A8c7 | 10 | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT |
The platform fee is a flat 0.5%: a customer paying 100 USDT leaves you 99.5 USDT. Every other coin is on the pricing page.
The right token on each chain
Polygon: USDT0 is the same token
Tether upgraded its Polygon token to USDT0 without changing the contract, so many wallets now label it "USDT0". That is the token easyway credits. The checkout says so on Polygon invoices, because customers who see an unfamiliar name tend to stop and ask.
Avalanche: native USDT, not USDT.e
Avalanche has two tokens called Tether: the native C-Chain USDT and the older bridged USDT.e. Only the native contract in the table is credited. The checkout shows this note on Avalanche invoices, since a USDT.e transfer to the invoice address would not count toward it.
How a payment is detected
Every invoice gets its own deposit address. Polygon and Avalanche use the same address format as Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, so the checkout always names the network next to the address: USDT sent on a different chain than the invoice's is not credited to that invoice. Once a transfer from the right contract arrives, the invoice shows it as confirming; it is marked paid after the confirmations above, and a signed webhook goes to your server.
Confirmations differ because the chains differ. Avalanche finalises a block in about two seconds and an accepted block is never reorganised, so 10 blocks is a margin for a lagging node. On Polygon, 64 blocks (about two minutes at two-second blocks) is well past the network's own finality.
Integrating
Create an invoice with currency set to "USDT_POLYGON" or "USDT_AVAX", or let the customer pick, then redirect to the hosted checkout. The quickstart and webhook guide have runnable code, and the full API is described in OpenAPI 3.1.
Withdrawals go out as USDT on the same network, to an address you have whitelisted. easyway holds the balance until you withdraw it; nothing is swapped or bridged.
Other networks
USDT on TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, TON and Solana; USDC on five networks including Polygon and Avalanche.
