Accept Pyth Network (PYTH) payments
PYTH is the governance token of the Pyth Network, an oracle that publishes market prices for smart contracts on many blockchains; its holders vote on the network's proposals. easyway accepts it next to SOL, USDT and USDC on Solana, on the same checkout and API. Below: which PYTH counts, how a customer pays, and what holding a non-stable token means for you.
Token, network and limits
| Token | Network | Mint | Confirmations | Min. withdrawal | Withdrawal fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pyth Network (PYTH) | Solana · SPL | HZ1JovNiVvGrGNiiYvEozEVgZ58xaU3RKwX8eACQBCt3 | 1 (finalized) | 8 PYTH | 6 PYTH (flat) |
This is the Solana mint published in Pyth's token address list. PYTH was created on Solana; it is a standard SPL token with 6 decimals. Its mint authority has been removed, so no more of it can be created, and it has no freeze authority.
PYTH on other chains is not credited
The same address list also shows PYTH contracts on other networks — EVM chains and others — bridged from Solana with Wormhole. They are separate tokens with their own contracts and can't reach a Solana address. A customer holding PYTH elsewhere has to bridge it back to Solana, or withdraw from an exchange on the Solana network, before paying. The checkout labels the coin "Solana · SPL" for that reason.
Pyth also publishes price feeds for other tokens; those feeds are data, not tokens, and have nothing to do with which coins can be paid with.
What paying looks like for the customer
The customer picks PYTH, sees an amount and a fresh Solana address (with a QR code), and sends exactly that amount. In Phantom or Solflare that is PYTH → Send → scan the QR code. The wallet needs a little SOL for the fee. If the invoice address has never held PYTH, the wallet also creates its token account, which takes a small one-time SOL deposit. From an exchange account the exchange covers this. Staked PYTH has to be unstaked and unlocked first.
easyway reads the amount from the validator's own balance tables for the address's PYTH token account, so a plain transfer, an exchange withdrawal or a swap that pays out to the invoice address are all credited the same way. A payment counts once its block is finalized (usually well under a minute) and a second, independent RPC provider returns the same amount. Transfers below 0.2 PYTH are ignored, so dust spam can't touch an invoice. Larger ones to the same address add up. Short and late payments follow the underpaid and late payments guide.
Price risk and fees
PYTH's price moves. For a USD invoice the PYTH amount is locked from the exchange rate when the customer chooses the coin. After the payment, PYTH is credited and withdrawn as PYTH, so later price moves are yours. Pricing an invoice in PYTH itself (currency = "PYTH_SOL") skips the conversion entirely.
The platform fee is a flat 0.5% of each confirmed payment: 1,000 PYTH paid leaves 995 PYTH on your balance. The withdrawal fee and minimum above are fixed PYTH amounts. They cover the Solana fee and the recipient's token-account deposit at listing time, so their dollar value follows PYTH's price. To end up with dollars, also offer USDT on Solana or USDC and choose per invoice with allowed_assets. All coins are on the pricing page.
Integrating
Nothing is PYTH-specific: create an invoice through the API (or a payment link without code), redirect to the hosted checkout, and fulfil on the signed invoice.paid webhook. The quickstart has runnable examples, and the sandbox guide shows how to try the flow without real funds.
Common questions
Does easyway use Pyth prices for invoices? No. Invoice exchange rates come from several market price sources and are compared with each other; the Pyth oracle is not one of them. Accepting the PYTH token is unrelated to Pyth's price feeds.
Is easyway part of the Pyth Network? No. easyway is an independent payment gateway that accepts the PYTH token; it has no partnership with the Pyth Network or the Pyth Data Association.
Who holds the PYTH? easyway keeps it on your balance until you withdraw. Live withdrawals go only to addresses you have whitelisted with two-factor authentication; see security.
Which other Solana coins are accepted? SOL itself, USDT, USDC, Jupiter (JUP), Render (RENDER), and Bonk and dogwifhat on the meme tokens page.
