Accept Jito (JTO) payments

JTO is the governance token of the Jito DAO, which steers Jito's Solana liquid staking (JitoSOL) and its MEV software for validators; it was distributed by airdrop in December 2023. easyway accepts it next to SOL, USDT and USDC on Solana, on the same checkout and API. Below: which token counts, how a customer pays, and what holding a non-stable token means for you.

This is the mint the Jito Foundation published with the airdrop (it starts with "jtojto"). JTO is a standard SPL token with 9 decimals. Its mint authority has been removed, so no more of it can be created, and it has no freeze authority.

JTO is not JitoSOL

Wallets often show both side by side. JitoSOL is what a user receives for staking SOL with Jito; its value follows SOL plus staking rewards. JTO is the separate governance token. They have different mints, and only JTO is credited to a JTO invoice. A customer who wants to pay with staked SOL can swap JitoSOL to SOL or JTO first. Any token labelled JTO on another network is a different contract and can't reach a Solana address either.

What paying looks like for the customer

The customer picks JTO, sees an amount and a fresh Solana address (with a QR code), and sends exactly that amount. In Phantom or Solflare that is JTO → Send → scan the QR code. The wallet needs a little SOL for the fee. If the invoice address has never held JTO, the wallet also creates its token account, which takes a small one-time SOL deposit. From an exchange account the exchange covers this. JTO in a staking or restaking vault has to be withdrawn to the wallet first.

easyway reads the amount from the validator's own balance tables for the address's JTO token account, so a plain transfer, an exchange withdrawal or a swap that pays out to the invoice address are all credited the same way. A payment counts once its block is finalized (usually well under a minute) and a second, independent RPC provider returns the same amount. Transfers below 0.03 JTO are ignored, so dust spam can't touch an invoice. Larger ones to the same address add up. Short and late payments follow the underpaid and late payments guide.

Price risk and fees

JTO's price moves. For a USD invoice the JTO amount is locked from the exchange rate when the customer chooses the coin. After the payment, JTO is credited and withdrawn as JTO, so later price moves are yours. Pricing an invoice in JTO itself (currency = "JTO_SOL") skips the conversion entirely.

The platform fee is a flat 0.5% of each confirmed payment: 100 JTO paid leaves 99.5 JTO on your balance. The withdrawal fee and minimum above are fixed JTO amounts. They cover the Solana fee and the recipient's token-account deposit at listing time, so their dollar value follows JTO's price. To end up with dollars, also offer USDT on Solana or USDC and choose per invoice with allowed_assets. All coins are on the pricing page.

Integrating

Nothing is JTO-specific: create an invoice through the API (or a payment link without code), redirect to the hosted checkout, and fulfil on the signed invoice.paid webhook. The quickstart has runnable examples, and the sandbox guide shows how to try the flow without real funds.

Common questions

Is easyway part of Jito? No. easyway is an independent payment gateway that accepts the JTO token; it has no partnership with the Jito Foundation, and accepting JTO has nothing to do with staking SOL.

Who holds the JTO? easyway keeps it on your balance until you withdraw. Live withdrawals go only to addresses you have whitelisted with two-factor authentication; see security.

Which other Solana coins are accepted? SOL itself, USDT, USDC, Jupiter (JUP), Pyth Network (PYTH), Render (RENDER), and Bonk and dogwifhat on the meme tokens page.
