Accept FET payments (Fetch.ai / ASI Alliance)
FET started as the token of Fetch.ai, a network for autonomous AI agents. Since the 2024 token merger it is also the token of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol). easyway accepts FET as an ERC-20 on Ethereum with the same checkout and API as ETH and the stablecoins. Below: the contract that counts, the networks that don't, and what the fees look like.
Token, network and limits
| Token | Network | Contract | Confirmations | Min. withdrawal | Withdrawal fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FET (Artificial Superintelligence Alliance) | Ethereum · ERC-20 | 0xaea46A60368A7bD060eec7DF8CBa43b7EF41Ad85 | 12 | 3.5 FET | 12 FET (flat) |
This is the contract the Fetch.ai Foundation named as the only supported FET contract after its 2020 token swap, and the Ethereum address CoinGecko lists for the ASI Alliance token. It has 18 decimals and is a plain, non-upgradeable ERC-20. An earlier 2019 FET contract was replaced in that swap and is not credited.
Where FET lives, and what counts
FET exists on several networks. Only one of them pays an invoice:
| FET on… | Address format | Credited? |
|---|---|---|
| Ethereum (ERC-20) | 0xaea46A60368A7bD060eec7DF8CBa43b7EF41Ad85 | Yes |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) | 0x031b41e504677879370e9dbcf937283a8691fa7f | No |
| Fetch.ai mainnet (native FET) | fetch1… addresses | No |
| Cardano | native asset | No |
| AGIX or OCEAN (pre-merger tokens) | their own contracts | No — convert to FET first |
Most exchanges let the customer choose the withdrawal network. They must pick Ethereum (ERC-20); a withdrawal on another network arrives at a different chain and the invoice stays open. Fetch.ai's own token bridge converts native FET to ERC-20 FET if a customer holds the native kind. The guide to paying from an exchange walks through picking the network.
Amounts and fees
On a USD invoice the FET amount is locked from the exchange rate when the customer selects the coin, and the checkout shows the exact amount to send. Transfers under 0.1 FET are skipped as dust; several larger ones add up, and the invoice is paid after 12 confirmations, usually a few minutes. Short or late payments follow the underpaid and late payments guide.
FET is not a stablecoin: the payment is credited and later withdrawn in FET, so later price moves are yours. The platform fee is a flat 0.5% of each confirmed payment: 1,000 FET received leaves 995 FET on your balance. The withdrawal fee and minimum are fixed FET amounts set from the gas of an ERC-20 transfer when FET was listed; every coin's numbers are on the pricing page.
Integrating
Nothing is FET-specific: create an invoice with the API (or a payment link if you don't write code), send the customer to the hosted checkout and deliver when the signed invoice.paid webhook arrives. To price an invoice in FET itself, pass currency = "FET_ERC20"; to show only FET at checkout, pass allowed_assets with "FET_ERC20". Runnable examples are in the quickstart.
Common questions
Is easyway connected to Fetch.ai or the ASI Alliance? No. easyway is independent and only receives the FET token as a payment for your own goods or services; it does not run agents or stake FET.
Where is the FET kept after a payment? On your easyway balance until you withdraw it. Live withdrawals only go to addresses you whitelisted with two-factor authentication; see security. Other Ethereum tokens on the same addresses: The Graph (GRT), Chainlink (LINK) and Worldcoin (WLD).
