Accept SPX6900 (SPX) payments

SPX6900 is a meme token with an active community on Ethereum. easyway accepts SPX as an ERC-20 on Ethereum with the same checkout and API as ETH and the stablecoins. Below: the one contract that counts, the copies on other networks that don't, and why its withdrawal fee is a little higher than for most Ethereum tokens.

This is the contract Etherscan labels "SPX6900 (SPX)", linked to spx6900.com, and the Ethereum address CoinGecko lists for SPX6900. It is a plain ERC-20 with no proxy, its owner role has been renounced, and no fee is taken on a transfer, so the amount the customer sends is the amount that arrives. Unlike most tokens it has 8 decimals, not 18, so an amount never has more than 8 digits after the point.

If an exchange offers SPX on more than one network, the customer must pick Ethereum (ERC-20). Sent on Base, Solana or Avalanche, the tokens land on a different chain and the invoice stays open. The guide to paying from an exchange walks through choosing the network.

Amounts and fees

On a USD invoice the SPX amount is locked from the exchange rate when the customer selects the coin, and the checkout shows the exact amount to send. Transfers under 0.05 SPX are skipped as dust; several larger ones add up, and the invoice is paid after 12 confirmations, usually a few minutes. Short or late payments follow the underpaid and late payments guide.

SPX is not a stablecoin: the payment is credited and later withdrawn in SPX, so later price moves are yours. The platform fee is a flat 0.5% of each confirmed payment: 1,000 SPX received leaves 995 SPX on your balance. The SPX contract uses more gas per transfer than a typical ERC-20 (about 76,000 to a new address, against roughly 52,000), so the fixed withdrawal fee of 5 SPX is set a little higher than for other Ethereum tokens. Every coin's numbers are on the pricing page.

Integrating

Nothing is SPX-specific: create an invoice with the API (or a payment link if you don't write code), send the customer to the hosted checkout and deliver when the signed invoice.paid webhook arrives. To price an invoice in SPX itself, pass currency = "SPX_ERC20"; to show only SPX at checkout, pass allowed_assets with "SPX_ERC20". Runnable examples are in the quickstart.

Common questions

Is easyway connected to SPX6900? No. easyway is independent and only receives the SPX token as a payment for your own goods or services.

Where is the SPX kept after a payment? On your easyway balance until you withdraw it. Live withdrawals only go to addresses you whitelisted with two-factor authentication; see security. Other meme tokens on the same Ethereum addresses: Shiba Inu and Pepe; on Solana: Bonk and dogwifhat.
